我院IMBA人才培养质量提升研讨会顺利开展

为提升IMBA人才培养质量,完善本院研究生培养体系,打造本校国际化教育特色品牌,我院于1222日上午,在27314教室举办了IMBA人才培养质量提升研讨会。此次研讨会由IMBA中心主任郑小勇主持,院长陈宇峰教授、副院长郑小碧教授、IMBA授课教师及导师、研究生办老师、2023IMBA研究生代表参加会议。


To improve the quality of IMBA talent training, enhance the graduate training system of our university, and create an international brand education with distinctive features, on the morning of December 22nd, our college held an IMBA Seminar On Talent Training Quality Improvement  in Room 314, Building 27. This seminar presided over by director of the IMBA Center Zheng Xiaoyong, Dean Professor Chen Yufeng, Vice Dean Zheng Xiaobi, IMBA lecturer and supervisor, graduate student office teacher, and 2023 IMBA graduate student representative participated in this seminar.

在研讨会中,郑小碧副院长首先向出席人员表示热烈欢迎,并衷心感谢其对IMBA人才培养的贡献与支持。接着,郑副院长对讨论IMBA人才培养方案的重要性做出重要阐述:一是改进IMBA人才培养方案,有利于完善全院研究生培养体系;二是符合教育国际化战略,有利于提升学校教育国际化力量;三是符合学位点布局,有利于集聚人才平台建设。


In the seminar, Vice President Zheng Xiaobi, who is in charge of the school, first extended a warm welcome to the participants and sincerely thanked them for their contribution and support to IMBA talent training. Then, Vice President Zheng made an important statement on the importance of discussing the IMBA talent training program: first, improving the IMBA talent training program is conducive to improving the graduate training system of the school; second, it conforms to the strategy of internationalization of education and is beneficial to enhancing the internationalization of school education; third, it is in line with the layout of academic places, which is profitable to the construction of a talent gathering platform.

在郑副院长发言后,IMBA任课老师及导师展开了深入的研讨,分别从课程教学、学术论文和人才培养方面提出了建议。在课程教学方面,主要研讨了课程设置、课堂教学管理、教学组织和学生学业考核形式等问题;在学术论文方面,论文选题单一,论文内容同质化严重,可鼓励学生用定性方法研究,并改革学术论文的形式,将其分为商业企划书和学位论文两种模式,供学生自行选择;在人才培养方面,应鼓励学生积极参与竞赛,给予学生申博或就业机会,追踪留学生毕业情况,挖掘优秀毕业生案例等。


After Vice Dean Zheng's speech, IMBA teachers and mentors conducted in-depth discussions and summarized their suggestions in three aspects: curriculum teaching, academic papers, and talent cultivation. In terms of course teaching, it mainly discusses the curriculum setting, classroom teaching management, teaching organization and students' academic assessment form; in terms of academic papers, the topic of the paper is single, and the content of the paper is severely homogenized. Encourage students to use qualitative methods to research papers and reform the format of academic papers, dividing them into two models: business proposal and degree thesis, for students to choose on their own; in terms of talent cultivation, students should be encouraged to actively participate in competitions, be given opportunities to apply for a PhD or employment, track the graduation status of international students, and explore outstanding graduate cases.

接着,两位2023IMBA研究生代表进行了发言。他们希望学院增设中文学习的相关课程,更多地开展留学生文化交流活动,增进留学生与中国学生间的友谊,并希望可以增加企业调研次数,对企业进行更深入的了解。


Subsequently, two representatives of 2023 IMBA graduate students gave speeches. They proposed to add courses related to Chinese language learning in the college, conducting more cultural exchange activities for international students, and enhancing friendships between international students and Chinese students, and hope to increase the frequency of enterprise research to gain a deeper understanding of the enterprise.

会议的最后,由郑小勇做总结发言。他首先感谢各位师生为IMBA人才培养质量提升提出的建设性意见,随后表示将与相关部门及老师一同深入研究切实可行的对策与举措,提高IMBA办学质量。此次IMBA人才培养质量提升研讨会在热烈的掌声中取得圆满成功。

At the end of the meeting, Associate Professor Zheng Xiaoyong gave a concluding speech. He first thanked all the teachers and students for their constructive suggestions for the improvement of IMBA talent training quality, and then said that he would work with relevant departments and teachers to study feasible countermeasures and measures to improve the quality of IMBA education. This  IMBA Seminar On Talent Training Quality Improvement was a complete success amidst warm applause.
